Dozens killed in bombing outside school: Bomber poses as student, blows up school

Kano, Nigeria at least 47 people were killed and 79 were wounded Monday by a suicide bombing outside a school in northern Nigeria, police said.

The attacker was disguised as a student when he set off the explosion in a government boarding school in the town of Potiskum, police spokesman Emmanuel Ojukwu said.

"We suspect Boko Haram is behind the attack," Ojukwu said.

The explosion took place at 7:50 a.m. local time outside the principal's office, where students had gathered for a daily speech.

"We were waiting for our teachers to come and address us at the assembly ground when we heard a huge explosion," student Adamu Ibrahim said.

It was not immediately clear how many of the casualties were students.

Although no one‎ has claimed responsibility for the attack, Boko Haram is the prime suspect.

The radical Islamic militant group has carried out deadly attacks on schools teaching Western curriculum.

In February, Boko Haram gunmen killed at least 40 students when they opened fire and threw explosives in student hostels in a government boarding school in the town of Buni Yadi, in Yobe state.

And last year, 42 students were killed when Boko Haram gunmen attacked dormitories with guns and explosives in a government boarding school near Potiskum.

Keira Knightley Explains Why She Posed Topless Without Retouching: It Feels Important

For Keira Knightley, posing topless was not a decision she took lightly. The British beauty, 29, shed her clothes for a stunning photo spread by acclaimed photographer Patrick Demarchelier in the September issue of Interview magazine, and is now explaining her reasoning for doing so.

"I've had my body manipulated so many different times for so many different reasons, whether it's paparazzi photographers or for film posters," Knightley told The Times of London in a new interview. "That [shoot] was one of the ones where I said, 'Okay, I'm fine doing the topless shot so long as you don't make them any bigger or retouch.' Because it does feel important to say it really doesn't matter what shape you are."

The slender star went fully topless for the shoot, standing with her arms at her sides and exposing her nipples. She appears strong and natural, staring into the camera with a bold stare.

'Duck Dynasty's' Mountain Man reveals why he was once fired from fast food job

He said:
Duck Dynasty's" Tim Guraedy, a.k.a. "Mountain Man," may be an author, radio host and recording artist but he wants us all to know he has stayed true to his roots.

"My son Jonathan and I were hunting and I shot a deer and as I was trying to drag it out, my flashlight went out and a thorn got me in the eye and I couldn't hardly see at all," Guraedy told the reporter of the day he lost his fast food job.

He says his only solution was to drag the deer into his 4-wheel drive and have his 9-year-old son drive home but not before they dropped the deer off in the freezer at his then fast food place of employment, which is something he had done before. But this time it did not go over well with his bosses.

“The managers and supervisors (came in) the next morning and they found that (dead deer) and made a big fuss of it this time,” he recalled. “The health department had just slapped me on the wrist (last time) but this time they decided they were going to get rid of old Mountain Man so they fired me with that deer.”
